June block watch reminder
Just a reminder that the next meeting is Tuesday the 24th at 7pm at the police station.

June Block Watch Walk
The 2nd Tuesday of each month we will be meeting in front of the SEND office 606 Middle Ave at 7pm to go on a neighborhood walk. The purpose of this walk is to get out and meet others and spreading the word of the block watch. Also gets us out for some exercise.
The June walk will be on the 10th, see you there.

May 27th meeting notes
Here are the highlights of tonight’s discussion.
Officers Welsh and Lantz represented the Police Department
6/5/08 there will be a hearing for the re-zoning of 251 8th Street from a residential house to a group home.
The police are still attending to the dog complaints. If you have a complaint call the police with the information and they will talk with the owner.
Frank’s Market will be reopening as LB Market. The owner is a resident of the area and vows to run a good business.
Gas USA has a new owner and they will be applying for a new liquor license. We will request that council have a hearing on this so each side can state their concerns.
245 Gates – kids hanging out there all day. Seems to be a problem house.
****** 6/23/08 – There will be a new watch starting up. The West Side watch will have its 1st meeting 6/23 at 7pm at the police station.
